Transit and Walkability

Transit and walkability is limited in this area. There is one bus that runs through and no shops or services to walk to. Marine Drive takes you in and out of the neighbourhood and connects you to the rest of the North Shore. Here, you are about 10 minutes to the Lions Gate Bridge, 15-20 minutes to the heart of Downtown Vancouver and 50 minutes to YVR.

Schools

Bayridge Elementary and Rockridge Secondary are two highly regarded schools located in West Vancouver that offer a strong educational experience for students of all ages.

Cons

Due to the area's high population density, peak hours may see a lot of traffic and congestion. Some locals may find it difficult to get around because of the area's limited public transit alternatives. Additionally, there might not be many community events or activities in the region. Overall, Westmount has its drawbacks that should be taken into account before deciding to move there even if it is a desirable place to live for many people.
