Transit and Walkability

This neighborhood is located beside the Upper Levels Hwy which gives you quick road connections to Vancouver, the BC Ferry Terminal in Horseshoe Bay, and to Whistler. Or cut down to the scenic Marine Drive which will take you directly into the “town” part of West Vancouver. Walkability is not the best in this area as it is entirely residential. Here, you are about 10 minutes to the Lions Gate Bridge, 15-20 minutes to the heart of Downtown Vancouver and 50 minutes to YVR.

Schools

Caulfeild Elementary and Rockridge Secondary are two highly respected schools located in the West Vancouver area.

Cons

The expense of living is one of the biggest drawbacks. Because the area's property values are among the highest in the city, many individuals find it impossible to afford to live there. The region can also be quite densely inhabited, which can cause traffic jams and parking issues. Finally, there are few public transportation choices and the region is not especially transit-friendly. For some people, the high school's noise might also be an issue.
