Howe Sound

Howe Sound

Spectacular Howe Sound is North America’s southernmost fjord, located northwest of Vancouver and extending from West Vancouver North to Squamish. Surrounded by towering peaks that rise straight out of the sea, Howe Sound is Vancouver’s playground for sailing, diving, camping, hiking, and an incredible place to call home.  The area consists of multiple communities along the mainland and four main islands in the middle of Howe Sound. Larger communities along the western shoreline include Gibsons, Langdale, and Port Mellon on the Sechelt Peninsula- or referred to as the Sunshine Coast. This is natural living at its best! Homes in these communities are situated in forests, alongside creeks, or even on the shoreline! You really get a sense of peace and quiet living in these smaller, natural neighborhoods.
