British Properties
The British Properties is a sought-after neighbourhood for individuals seeking exclusivity and status because it is home to some of the most opulent and high-end residences in the Lower Mainland. It's a genuinely unique spot to live because many of the residences there have breath-taking views of the city, mountains, and sea. The British Properties, which have a long history dating to the 1930s, are still a very popular destination for anyone seeking a quiet haven in the middle of the city. In addition, the area is renowned for its abundance of greenery, making it a wonderful destination for families and outdoor enthusiasts.

Capilano Golf and Country Club - If you love golf this is the place for you Capilano Golf and Country Club combines natural beauty and uniquely West Coast style. With the North Shore Mountains with spectacular views of Vancouver and beyond. It's no wonder Capilano Golf Club now has 1,400 members and is recognized as one of the top golf courses in Canada. Capilano Golf Club is ranked as #1 golf course in British Columbia and in always in the top ten in Canada. Capilano Golf Club was #51 in Golf Digest’s World’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses *outside of the United States. Hollyburn Country Club - Located on 47 prime acres in the British Properties of West Vancouver, BC, it is truly one the most beautiful country clubs in all of Vancouver. Hollyburn was established in 1958 as the Hi-View Sports Club. With over 7600 people members and with activities like Aquatics Bridge, Badminton, Figure Skating, Fitness Gyms, Hockey, Karate, Music, Pickleball, Squash, Tennis, and more. Hollyburn Club is a staple for Bristish Properties residents. British Properties is home to a diverse mix of parks that cater to a variety of ages and interests. One of my favorite parks is Ballantree Park - This park has a lovely trail with some very spectacular views that pop up in between the trees occasionally providing breathtaking views. Keep in mind part of the trail does run through private property, but the trail is still open to the public for use by all.

Transit and Walkability
Transit and walkability is extremely limited in this area, as it is entirely residential and all households have cars. Driving through the area could sometimes be confusing as the streets wind and curve up the hill.
Schools
Chartwell, Irwin Park, Cedardale and Sentinel are all esteemed schools located in West Vancouver that offer a high-quality education for students from Kindergarten to High School.
Cons
One potential drawback is that some people may find it difficult to afford to live in the area due to the high cost of the real estate. In addition, the region is noted for its steep topography, which can be challenging for people with mobility impairments to manage. The region is also renowned for its enormous, expansive homes and estates, which may make residents feel isolated and lack a feeling of community.
