Transit and Walkability
Transportation is made easy in Lower Lonsdale. You actually don’t even really need a car. A lot of residents here don’t have one. You can walk to virtually everything in this neighbourhood. Busses are passing by constantly- taking passengers all over the North Shore and across both bridges. And the SeaBus leaves every 12 minutes to take you to-and-from the heart of downtown.
School
Ridgeway and Queen Mary Elementary feed into Sutherland Secondary, a school offering education for grade 8 to 12. The school provides students with a well-rounded education, including various academic programs and extracurricular activities.
Cons
One of the biggest issues is the limited public transportation options in the area, which can make it difficult for those who rely on public transit to get around. Additionally, the area is known for heavy traffic congestion during peak hours, which can be frustrating for drivers. Some residents may also find that the area can be quite noisy, particularly in the evenings and on weekends when there are many bars and restaurants in the area.
