Transit and Walkability

The walkability in this part of the North Shore is inconvenient, as there isn't much close by. Driving of course in this area is the most convenient. There are the two main roads that connect you to the rest of North Van (west of the Second Narrows Bridge) Dollarton Highway and Mt Seymour Parkway.

School

Dorothy Lynas (French Immersion) and Sherwood Park Elementary feed into Seycove Secondary, a school that offers education for grade 8 to 12.

Cons

Indian River in North Vancouver has a few drawbacks that may be of concern to some people. One of the biggest issues is the heavy traffic congestion in the area during peak hours, which can make it difficult to commute or drive around. Additionally, the cost of living in this area is relatively high compared to other parts of North Vancouver, which may make it difficult for some people to afford to live there. The lack of affordable housing options may also be a problem for those looking to settle in Indian River. Some residents may also find the area to be quite densely populated, which can lead to overcrowding and a lack of personal space.
