Forest Hills is a beautiful mountainside community that is close to many parks, schools and outdoor activities. Known for the flats lots, residents in this neighbourhood enjoy the peace and quiet provided by the forests that surround the area. Canyon Heights is located in close proximity to great amenities and is considered one of the top places to live in North Vancouver. The homes in these neighbourhoods have a reputation for being big, beautiful and thoughtfully designed with the surrounding nature. There are some big homes up here. The average lot size is 9,000 sqft, while the houses themselves average at around 3,500 sqft. The demographic is mostly large families and long-term residents!

Capilano Suspension Bridge is the most visited attraction on all of the North Shore. This is a 30-acre park with seven different suspended footbridges offering views 110 feet above the forest floor. School

Braemar Elementary, Mountroyal Elementary, and Canyon Heights Elementary are all feeder schools for Handsworth Secondary, where students can continue their education from grade 8 to 12.

Cons

This area doesn't have a great walkability score; the hills make it a bit harder to get around. It also is pretty far away from everything, meaning it’s a good idea to commute by car. It is also common for more northern neighbourhoods to get more snow and rain during colder months.
